Operational Workflow

Farm to Market Journey

Precision handling at every stage of the export process, ensuring freshness from Kenya to the world.

01

Sustainable Sourcing

We partner with over 500 Global-GAP certified smallholder farmers. Our agronomists provide year-round support, ensuring that only the best seedlings are planted and sustainable farming practices are followed.

02

Maturity Testing & Harvest

Harvesting only begins when fruits reach the perfect dry matter or Brix levels. Our team uses non-destructive testing tools to ensure consistency across the entire lot.

03

Packhouse Operations

Within 4 hours of harvest, produce arrives at our Nairobi packhouse. It undergoes washing, Hot Water Treatment (for mangoes), and automated grading by weight and color.

04

Rapid Pre-Cooling

Field heat is removed using forced-air cooling systems, bringing the internal temperature of the fruit down to the required 5°C - 8°C (depending on variety) to halt ripening.

05

Smart Packaging

Fruits are packed into high-strength, ventilated corrugated cartons. Every box is labeled with a QR code that links back to the specific farmer and harvest date.

06

Global Logistics

Through our partners, we coordinate Air Freight via JKIA or Sea Freight in CA (Controlled Atmosphere) containers from Mombasa, ensuring an unbroken cold chain.

Shipment Visibility

Every lot is connected to traceability codes, QC records and cold-chain logs. Buyers receive regular updates and estimated arrival times for total peace of mind.
